الرحله 5390 رحله عجيبه اقلعت من بريطانيا وعلى متنها 83 مسافر من برمنجهام .
نتيجه خطأ تقنى تحطم الزجاج الامامى للطياره .واللى كان مثبت بمسامير والذى ادى لقذف الطيار (تيم لانكستر) خارج قمره القياده ومن هنا دارت القصه حول محاوله انقاذه رغم انه كما قال طاقم الطائره ميت لامحاله بسبب الضغط الهائل وسرعه الطائره .
تمكن المضيف (نايجل اولدن ) من محاوله امساكه لمده 20 دقيقه حتى يمنعه من السقوط حيث كان الغرض الاساسى ليس انقاذه لان طاقم الطائره بالكامل ذكر انه ميت لامحاله ولكن حتى لايدخل فى المحرك ويسبب سقوط الطائره .
حتى تمكن الطيار المساعد من الهبوط بطار ساوثهمبتون باعجوبه .
