اللمتحنه هى ام كلثوم بنت عقبه ابن ابى معيط ابيها لقب باشقى القوم فهو من القى سلا جزور وهى امعاء الشاه على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت ذكيه جدا وتحب العلم ولما دخل الايمان قلبها كتمت ذلك على ابيها واخوتها وصبرت الى ان قتل ابيها فى غوزه بدر وهاجرت الى الرسول صلي الله عليه وسلم فى المدينه رغم وجود لح الحديبيه والذى من ضمن شروطه ان يرجع النبى اي احد هاجر اليه فوقف النبى فى حيره من امره الى ان نزل فيها قول الله سبحانه وتعالى يايها الذين امنوا اذا جاءكم المؤمنات مهاجرات فأمتحنوهن الله اعلم بايمانهن فان علمتموهن مؤمنان فلا ترجعوهن الى الكفار
وتزوجت من عبد الرحمن ابن عوف احر العشره المبشرين بالجنه .
