#كان_التامة تدل على حدث وزمن، وتأتي بمعنى: حصل وحضر، كما في قوله تعالى: ﴿وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسۡرَةࣲ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَیۡسَرَةࣲۚ﴾ [البقرة ٢٨٠]
وكذلك الفعلان #أصبح و#أمسى يأتيان تامَّيْن، بمعنى: دخل في الصباح، ودخل في المساء كما في قوله تعالى: ﴿فَسُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِینَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِینَ تُصۡبِحُونَ﴾ [الروم ١٧]
