«هشَشْتُ أَهُشُّ هَشّاً إِذا خَبَطَ الشجرَ فأَلْقاه لغَنَمِه. وهشَشْتُ الورَقَ أَهُشُّه هَشّاً: خبَطْتُه بِعصاً ليتَحاتَّ؛ وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: "وَأَهُشُّ بِها عَلى غَنَمِي"؛ قَالَ الْفَرَّاءُ: أَي أَضرِب بِهَا الشجرَ الْيَابِسَ ليَسْقُطَ ورَقُها فتَرْعاه غنَمُه»

فى دراسه قام بعملها عالم النفس الشهير فيليب زيمباردو قام بعمل تجربه سماها سجن جامعه ستانفورد قام بتقسيم مجموعه من الطلبه لقسمين جزا لعب دور المساجين والاخر سجانين واقام التجربه فى يرداب جامعه ستانفورد وقام باحكام الحبكه حيث اخذ الطلبه المساجين مقيدين من منازلهم على يد الطلبه السجانين وكان لايوجد اى قيود او قواعد على سلوك السجانين والنتيجه كانت كارثيه اثارت جدل اخلاقى وايع فى الاوساط العلمبه ففوجئ من خلال كاميرات المراقبه كيف ان الطلبه اصبحوا يتعاملوا بخشونه وعنف لدرجه تعذيب زملائهم رغم انهم كانوا مهذبين ومتفوقين دراسيا وهذا ما جعلهم يلتحقوا بالجامعه العريقه فاوقف التجربه على الفور واستنتج شئ اصبح موجود فى كل مراجع علم النفس الاجتماعى اليوم وهو ان السلطه المطلقه تخرج أسوأ ما فى النفس البشريه والتجربه اتعملت فيلم اسمه the expriment.
