عندما تم القبض على جيفارا فى مخباه بعدما بلغ عنه راعى اغنام سالوا الراعى لماذا بلغت عن رجل قضى حياته فى الدفاع عنكم فقال ان حروبه مع العدو كانت تخيف اغنامى وعندما تم القبض على محمد كريم قال له نابليون ساعفو عنك مقابل عشره الاف قطعه ذهبيه تعويضا عن من قتل من جنودى فقال له كريم ليس معى ما يكفى من المال ولكن لى دين عند التجار فاعطى له مهله لتحصيلها فلم يستجب له تاجر واحد واتهموه انه كان سبب فى دمار الاسكندريه .
قفال له نابليون ليس امامى غير انى اعدمك وهذا لانك دافعت عن اناس جبناء تشغلهم تجارتهم عن حريه الاوطان .
يقول محمد رشيد رضا الثائر لاجل مجتمع جاهل مثل شخص اشعل النار بجسده كى يضئ الطريق لشخص اعمى .
