التعرّض للأذى ليس هدفاً في الشريعة الإسلامية بل على العكس ، حماية النفس من التهلكة واجب قد نعدل عنه ونضحي بالنفس جهاداً في سبيل الله وتحقيق هدف إذا تطلب الأمر ذلك كحماية الأوطان .
