هذه هي أفضل طريقة لزراعة الأرز حتى الآن، حيث ينشر المزارعون في الوقت الحاضر البوليثين البلاستيكي في حقولهم، ويصنعون ثقوبًا فيه ويزرعون الأرز، يفعلون ذلك بحيث لا تنمو الأعشاب الضارة في محاصيل الأرز بسبب هذا البوليثين، كما أن الماء يجف بدرجة أقل بسبب أشعةالشمس، وبهذه الطريقة تجهز محاصيل الأرز  بجهد أقل بعد زراعتها.
