يوجد غرب النيل في مصر صحراء قاحلة فيها وادي أطلقوا عليه اسم (وادي الحيتان) لوجود هياكل عظمية لحيتان كانت تسبح في هذا المكان عندما كان بحراً قبل 40 مليون عام.

‏المنطقة صنفتها اليونيسكو كمنطقة تراث عالمي وعند زيارتك لها ستجد هياكل عظمية كاملة لحيتان وسط الصحراء.

Thank you for watching. In this video I turn spalted beech into a high gloss bowl. I enjoyed this project, and whilst there were a few challenges along the way (such as the large chunk of wood missing) I am happy with how it turned out.
