هل يمكن إشعال أعواد الثقاب هذه أثناء دورانها؟. حتى قاذفات اللهب التي تصل درجة حرارتها إلى أكثر من 1000 درجة مئوية لا تتمكن من إشعال أعواد الثقاب في هذه الحالة. لأن التدوير السريع يمنع حدوث نقطة تماس ثابتة بين الأعواد واللهب.
